On 21 April 2026, Professor Frank Schimmelfennig of ETH Zurich visited the
Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) and held discussions with
Shanghai-based scholars on issues relating to European integration and European
studies. Participants included experts and scholars from SIES and relevant
